Unlike rest of the world, Japanese consumers don’t think that iPhone is the hottest mobile phone in the world. It just turned out that Apple’s iPhone is considered a flop in Japanese market.
According to Wired report that iPhone 3G was failed based on three reasons first it does not have video camera and secondly it doesn’t have feature of multimedia text messaging and additionally I phone 3G requires a separate computer for software update but Japanese considered internet equipped cell phones in place of computer.
Demand is too down that one carrier SoftBank offers free I phone with two-year contract, report said.
Japanese market is considered as competitive and technology driven market which is well a head compared to the rest of world.
