As the countdown for the Oscars has started and the final show for 82 Academy award is just few hours away. Let’s have our own prediction and compare it with final outcome after the final verdict is out this evening. How about the best actress category and there are many beautiful ladies trying to get ahead of each other to snatch away the award. This year in my point of view, the award full of best talented actress and it is hard to pin point one over other, however, it is just prediction not a actual verdict on the wall.
Here are the strongest contenders are Sandra Bullock, Meryl Streep, however, Carey Mulligan and Gaboursey Sidibe are way behind in this category.

1. Sandra Bullock for “The Blind Side” as Leigh Anne Tuohy
Sandra Bullock character in the movie was here one of the finest. She has come along way after playing in many comedy roles. She played a role of adoptive mother of the real-life NFL player Michael Oher. While she has already won the Golden Globe and a BAFTA along with screen Actors Guild Award for her movie “The Blind Side”.
2. Helen Mirren for “The Last Station” as Sofya Tolstoy
With this nomination, she is in the line to win the Oscars 4th times and however if she wins, it will her 2nd Oscar trophy after “The Queen”. In the last station, she played the passionate wife of Leo Tolstoy.
3. Meryl Streep for “Julie & Julia” as Julia Child
The actress has already made the mark of winning as many as 15 times earlier and this will her 16 time to look for Oscar award. She played as celebraty Chef for Julia Child.
4. Carey Mulligan for “An Education” as Jenny Miller
This is Carey Mulligan first Oscar nomination for here movie “An Eduction” where she plays a teenager who has to choose stable life with her parents or more fashionable life with her beau.
5. Gabourey Sidibe for “Precious: Based on the Novel “Push” by Sapphire
Precious is the one of best movies that has been getting positive review from movie critics. Gaboury Sidible character as teenager for fighting for freedom from her abusive mother and rapist father got a lot recognition in the movie circle. It is her first Oscar nomination for her debut film.
If It is hard to pick one out of the pool of equally talented actress of Oscar award, however, it is just prediction… so here you go . I think, Sandra Bullock is most likely to win the Oscar award in the best actress category.
