Sensex entrenched in consolidation zone, loses 5.44 percent in week

Mumbai, Oct 31 (IANS) Indian equities markets entered into a consolidation zone with analysts terming the downward movement as long expected. A benchmark index fell 5.44 percent from its last weekly close and ended trade below the 16,000-mark.

The 30-share sensitive index (Sensex) ended 914.53 points, or 5.44 percent lower, at 15,896.28 points at the weekly close Friday, as opposed to the previous week’s close at 16,810.81 points.

Tito Jackson to testify in auction case for pal

London, Oct 31 (ANI): Tito Jackson is all set to testify in court to support his pal David Gest in his case against a Los Angeles auction house.

Music mogul Gest is suing Julien’s Auctions for more than 625,000 pounds in damages after the company offered 21 Jackson family items— including a Platinum RIAA Record Award for Thriller—telling clients they were from Gest’s personal collection.

New Delhi, Oct 31 (IANS) She has a legacy of cinema behind her, takes interest in different aspects of filmmaking and might one day go behind the camera like her grandfather and father. But right now Kareena Kapoor says she is happy being an actress.

“I like to know who is going to be the director of photography of my film. How am I going to look. Mostly what happens is when a script is narrated to you, it doesn’t turn out to be the same on screen. So an actor has to know all this,” Kareena said at the HT Leadership Summit in the capital Saturday.
