New Delhi, Oct 31 (IANS) Protests by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers, a religious procession and the India-Australia cricket match Saturday led to traffic snarls across the national capital.
The BJP workers demanding justice for 1984 anti-Sikh riots victims held protests around noon near Shyam Lal College in east Delhi, Janakpuri in west Delhi, Rani Bagh in northwest Delhi and Kalkaji in south Delhi.

1,600 cops, cameras to keep vigil during Mohali one-dayer
Mohali (Punjab), Oct 31 (IANS) At least 1,600 police personnel would be deployed and around 90 closed circuit cameras installed during the fourth one-day international (ODI) between India and Australia at Mohali Monday, police said Saturday.
“We have formulated a perfect security plan and round the clock our senior officials will be present at the stadium to supervise the arrangements. Quick reaction team, anti-sabotage team, bomb squad and ambulance will be stationed at the stadium,” district police chief Gurpreet Singh Bhullar told IANS.

New Delhi, Oct 31 (IANS) Kareena Kapoor is clear she will never endorse food chains like McDonald’s or Burger King, known for their beef burgers and the like, while co-actor and boyfriend Saif Ali Khan says he can’t think of doing an underwear ad.
“I will not endorse non-vegetarian products like McDonald’s or Burger King. I won’t endorse alcohol or tobacco. This is the policy I always follow because if I don’t relate to such things, I should not advocate them either,” Kareena said at the HT Leadership Summit here Saturday.

New Delhi, Oct 31 (IANS) Saif Ali Khan met Kareena Kapoor for the first time when she was just 14 years old and more than a decade later he fell in love with her. The two are now one of the most talked about couples in tinsel town, but say marriage is not on the cards.
“We do discuss marriage but this is not the right time because Saif is busy in his production house and I am getting very good roles. So marriage can wait,” Kareena said at the HT Leadership Summit here Saturday.
