Kannada star Shivaraj Kumar essays 11 roles of legendary dad
Bangalore, March 1 (IANS) Kannada star Shivaraj Kumar will be seen in as many as 11 roles immortalised on screen by his father and legendary actor Raj Kumar in one song of forthcoming film “Cheluvueye Ninne Nodalu”.
Shivaraj Kumar will portray the 11 characters in a song that will be a remix of the hugely popular number “Huttidhare Kannada…” from Raj Kumar’s film “Akasmika”. “Huttidhare Kannada…” continues to be a hit with listeners even 17 years after the movie’s release.
Uttar Pradesh for international airport in Greater Noida only
Lucknow, Feb 23 (IANS) A delegation of MPs from Uttar Pradesh’s ruling Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) met Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel in New Delhi Tuesday to press the state’s demand for building a new international airport in Greater Noida, officials said here.
“A delegation of MPs gave a memorandum to the union civil aviation minister today in New Delhi, urging him to give due consideration to the state government’s proposal for creating an international airport at Jewar, where we have already identified sufficient land for the purpose,” state Cabinet Secretary Shashank Shekhar Singh told IANS.
Bolivian girl born in air to be baptised on board
La Paz, Feb 22 (IANS/EFE) The Bolivian girl who was born a week ago on board a jetliner in flight will be baptised this week with the name Tami Fabiola on board the same aircraft, and her godfather will be the commander of the Bolivian air force.
The baptism will be held later Monday on board the jet at the military airport in the city of El Alto, just outside La Paz, air force press chief Col Jerry Holters told EFE Sunday.

India, Nepal sign four agreements
New Delhi, Feb 16 (IANS) India and Nepal signed four agreements on transport and education after discussions between Nepal President Ram Baran Yadav and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Tuesday afternoon.
Yadav, who is on a four-day state visit, met with the prime minister at Hyderabad House at noon, where they held delegation-level talks for about 50 minutes.
