ICC commends Sri Lanka’s decision to suspend Randiv
Dubai, Aug 19 (ANI): The International Cricket Council has welcomed the decision of the Sri Lanka Cricket to act swiftly and decisively in relation to an incident that took place at the conclusion of the third ODI between Sri Lanka and India at Dambulla on Monday.

Randiv suspended for a match, Dilshan fined (Lead)
Dambulla, Aug 18 (IANS) Sri Lankan cricket board Wednesday suspended off-spinner Suraj Randiv for a match and ordered forfeiture of the match fees of opener Tillakaratne Dilshan for acting in an unsporting manner that deprived Indian opener Virender Sehwag a century in the third one-day international of the tri-series here Monday.
Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) in a statement said that skipper Kumar Sangakkara was also reprimanded and has been advised to ensure that such incident don’t occur again in future.

Dhoni, Tendulkar, Sehwag nominated for ICC Awards
Dubai, Aug 18 (IANS) India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag have been nominated in three categories for the Internatonal Cricket Council (ICC) Awards 2010 to be held in Bangalore Oct 6.
Dhoni, Tendulkar and Sehwag have respectively been nominated in the Cricketer of the Year, Test Player of the Year and ODI Player of the Year categories.
Smith steps down as Proteas’ Twenty20 captainSports/Sports
