Mumbai, Mar 11(ANI): Bollywood actor Salman Khan on Thursday appeared before a special court in Mumbai as a prosecution witnesses in a 10-year-old case of one of his old movie.
Khan appeared before the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) court and reiterated the statement he had given 10 years ago.

Preity Zinta not against joining politics
New Delhi, March 11 (IANS) Actress Preity Zinta Thursday praised the Women’s Reservation Bill, saying it will reduce discrimination and bias against women – and indicated that was not averse to joining politics.
“This (the bill) provides an incredible opportunity to women. We have women in important position. Our president (Pratibha Patil) is a woman. Sonia Gandhi is there. There will be more woman in our parliament,” the actor told reporters on the sidelines of a health event organised by UNAIDS.

Mumbai, March 11 (IANS) Bollywood actor Salman Khan Thursday appeared before the Special MCOCA Court to depose as a witness in a 10-year-old case involving the movie “Chori Chori Chupke Chupke” (CCCC), his family said.
“He had given a police statement regarding the persons he had met before the making of the ‘CCCC’ movie over 10 years ago. He was called to confirm the statements before the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act today (Thursday),” his father Salim Khan told IANS.

New Delhi, March 10 (IANS) The national capital will observe the Earth Hour once again this year and Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit Wednesday appealed to residents to turn off lights for an hour on March 27.
“Delhi was the lead city for Earth Hour 2009 when India joined this global campaign. Several historical buildings, office complexes, RWAs, shopping centers and hotels switched off in support, resulting in close to 750 MW power saving in Delhi alone,” Dikshit said at the launch of the campaign here.
